Hello everyone,
I will ask you some troubles about the display atoms and bonds from VESTA.

I just tried to display the crystal structure and its polyhedral units,
but VESTA cannot work well ( please show the image"VESTA 20221024" below ).
Especially, the bonds between atoms cannot display when the style was selected "Ball-and-stick".
Of course the same situation was occurred when I selected the style as " Polyhedral ".
So the structure was not displayed the styles of  "Ball-and-stick"and "Polyhedral".

When VESTA works well, the bonds and atoms were displayed and Polyhedral model could be displayed.

I tried to solve this problem, VESTA was uninstalled and re-installed, but the situation cannot be changed.
Surprisingly, I confirmed the settings of Bonds, the bonds(atom labels and its distance) cannot be displayed and cleared when the operation from specific computer although  the same cif file can be opened and displayed the bonds and atoms well from operated other computer.
I thought this error could be occurred from some errors of the computer, not to be occurred the crush from cif file.

If you have the any solutions and comments to this trouble,
please tell me your solutions.

Hi Yuu

To have the bonds to be displaced, you have to define the bonds first (Edit => Bond). To do that, you will need to provide a maximum distance between two atoms (e.g., A - B < 2.5 A).

Hope this helps.

Jack
