Wont display anything

I downloaded vesta for a class of mine and every time I download the crystal they sent us it opens to show you all the information at the bottom. But the area where it displays the crystal and everything is grey. So basically its downloading and showing the summary/output box and all the information but no image. I am using a MacBook and have the latest version. Can anyone help or know what to do? It'd be greatly appreciated.

Based on your description, I imagine the problem is the same as the one Christina M and Akansha Singh encountered previously. 

Please check their thread--specifically their attached screenshot.  

If it really is the case, then, referring to Dags Olstein's workaround--originally posted under Akansha's "Vesta not running on MAC" thread:

Try to delete the /Users/user/Library/Application Support/VESTA/ directory and then launch VESTA again.
