Hi! Could you solve this problem?
I've already used Vesta in my old mac but it seems not to work on my new one.
Thanks

I am also having trouble running VESTA, but on Mac OS 10.8.5. When I try and run the executable the program appears to load for a couple of minutes, then when I check its progress it says that the program is not responding.

Perhaps you can paste any errors from the console. I and many others have no problem running vesta 3.3.1 on yosemite or older

I should have mentioned that this is indeed the latest version of VESTA that I have tried running (3.3.1)

I am still encountering the same problem on Mac OS X. When I download the VESTA .dmg file, mount the disk image, and then try and run the VESTA executable it appears to start up, but doesn't run. I have attached the crash report that I have received when running VESTA as I did the last time I mentioned this problem.

Just figure out. Go to ~/Library/Application Support, and delete the directory VESTA. It will give a fresh start of VEST program. Works for me.

Good luck.
