Run VESTA from the terminal on Mac OS X

Hello

I would like to run VESTA from the terminal on Mac OS X (I am currently under 10.11.1).

There is an executable file here : /Applications/VESTA/VESTA.app/Contents/MacOS

But if I run ./VESTA I got : 

The file (/Library/TeX/texbin/./elements.ini) was not opened.

It runs perfectly from the launchpad

Hi Germain,

you can run VESTA as follows,

open -a VESTA 

or

open -a VESTA “file name to open”

Nice, it works perfectly. The only drawback is if you go to File -> open this does not open the current folder.
