Hello, I'm Luciano, an Italian 31yo php enthusiast, I'm working in accounting in my company and I'd like to play with Vespolina.

I came from Zend Framework 1, in this last year I spent a lot of time learning symfony, and the big world around it, then I discover the Sonata Project and the Symfony CMF. (a lot of time it's related to my free time).

I've read every thing I found about Vespolina and I've looked at the various bundle and I see that Sonata Admin can be an interesting bundle to look at.

It came with orm, mongo and phpcr drivers.

thanks for sharing!

Hey Luciano,

Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself.  Accounting is a topic IT guys typically try to avoid but even in e-commerce it's an important topic which is often neglected.  Product & inventory valuation, booking invoices and registering transactions into GL accounts, it's all needed to run a legit  ecommerce business.   If you might be able to share any of this kind of information that would be really helpful.  Committing code even more :-)

Note that the documentation is really currently lacking (yes yes, we need to take some to fix this).

About sonata, we have currently still investigating how to approach the admin user interface.  It needs to be easy maintainable (yes sonata is easy for a simple UI and I use if for other projects) but we are not sure if it still holds for more complex admin UI without hacking the sonata core.
