Thanks Jochen,

In Vert.x 2.0, vert.x now runs without any special setup needed, so you can debug, run tests etc seamlessly.

We also provide a template Gradle project which you can get started with straight away. There is some information in the docs here:

I saw that 2.0.0 got releases right after I posted this.
As I like to run everything from my IDE I added an update to my blog:

I think you need to add some stuff, like if you have to set your vertx-mods property if you use a local repository.

No special setup should be necessary when running 2.0 in IDEA

I think his original post was for Vert.x 1.3.1

Or should I sat vet.x ;)
