hello Vertx community,
can anyone share how to get connected client IP address/port on a Vertx Net server?

i have searched on Vertx Java Api or Docs and have no luck,

This is affecting also Java API. I did not find a way to get the source IP address from an HttpServerRequest object :(

I tried your solution however Java throws an error when trying to cast NioAcceptedSocketChannel to a Channel.

Did you manage to get past this?

what if I can't go to 2.0?  Is there any other work around for 1.3.1?

This is a new feature in 2.0, it doesn't exist in 1.3.1
