Hi theres,

When I try to use vertx-jdbc-client and Aamzon's Redshift JDBC driver, running the fat jar causes below error,

Ok, here's my update, I added filters in the Apache Maven Shade Plugin to exclude below items, then it passes, yeah!

    <plugins>
      <plugin>
        <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
        <artifactId>maven-shade-plugin</artifactId>
        <version>2.4.1</version>
        <executions>
          <execution>
            <phase>package</phase>
            <goals>
              <goal>shade</goal>
            </goals>
            <configuration>
              <filters>
                <filter>
                  <artifact>*:*</artifact>
                  <excludes>
                    <exclude>META-INF/*.MF</exclude>
                    <exclude>META-INF/*.SF</exclude>
                    <exclude>META-INF/*.DSA</exclude>
                    <exclude>META-INF/*.RSA</exclude>

                  </excludes>
                </filter>
              </filters>
...

Cheers!

Richard-
