How to dump HttpClient requests

I would like to dump the wire representation of outbound HTTP requests into logs in a vertx 3.4.1 app that is using both WebClient and HttpClient, but I can't find a way to do this.

I don't want to have to run Fiddler or Wireshark - I'd like the full text of the HTTP request, as it will be sent over the wire, to be captured in log files for the application issuing the request.

Is this possible?
