This question is off-topic. Nevertheless I hope that someone can confirm or disaprove the following:
Is it true that every non-micro AWS EC2 instance costs at least 2$ per hour plus a regional dependend fee, so even a low-end server would cost at least 1.440 $ a month?

Most instances cost way less, you can check here: https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/pricing/
We have a mix of EC2 instances micro to xlarge as well as RDS, I can confidently say you'd be paying only a fraction of what you quoted.
Pricing does vary from region to region but not all that much - again you can compare regional pricing at above URL.

Mmh, there are currently two pages explaining the prices for the same thing differently:

1. https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/purchasing-options/dedicated-instances/
2. https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/pricing/

In the first page states the following:
"... Dedicated Instance pricing has two components: (1) an hourly per instance usage fee and (2) a dedicated per region fee (note that you pay this once per hour regardless of how many Dedicated Instances you're running).
Dedicated Per Region Fee
$2 per hour - An additional fee is charged once per hour in which at least one Dedicated Instance of any type is running in a Region."

I am confused about the first page because the price there is much higher than in the second page.

Your 2. page is the correct pricing. Not sure why you are looking at Dedicated Instances - they are for private clouds - generally governments that require that their data is not on the same physical machine as any other users. I'm guessing you do not need a virtual private cloud, or dedicated physical hardware.

Ok, now I got it :-)
The price for dedicated servers are much higher because they are billed per host and not by instance. This explains the big price difference.
You're right, I don't need a dedicated server.

Thanks!
