My friend and I want to get from kuala lumpur (or very near by) over to sumatra (medan ideally) does anyone know if this route can be done from these two places or near by? the only ferry we can find at the moment is from pulau penang to medan, but we need to go to kuala lumpur first. or there's melaka to dumai (but we want to go to the north of sumartra as out time is limited)
