Bijoy Jain teaches at the Accademia di architettura, Università della Svizzera Italiana in Mendrisio, Switzerland. He also taught as a visiting professor at Yale University in the United States and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. In 2015, he received an honorary doctorate from Hasselt University, Belgium, for his contribution to the architectural profession. In 2017, he received the RIBA International Fellowship in London.

Silo City is a vision for the adaptive reuse of the largest collection of grain elevators in the world into an arts and cultural campus on the Buffalo River. The design for Silo City tells the extraordinary story of the grain elevators and their role in history, industry, arts, and architecture by supporting both grass roots and internationally renowned arts and cultural institutions and local artists. It is supported by sustainable development including commercial, residential and hospitality that grow out of the themes, architecture, and history of this site.

The Green House, a 12-story residential building in Long Island City, Queens completed earlier this year. Designed by New York City architectural firm Studio V, the project is clad in terra-cotta panels, paying homage to New York Architectural Terra Cotta Works which manufactured terra-cotta in Long Island City from 1886 until 1968 and was the only terra-cotta fabricator in all of New York City.

The studio was founded by the principal, Paul De Leeuw in 2004. In addition to designing private residences, ranging in aesthetic from traditional to contemporary, Paul also has extensive experience in the design of large-scale neighborhoods, nationwide Harley Davidson dealerships, projects focused on sustainability as well as projects for the US General Services Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
