Platinum can only be gained through purchasing it for real money, or trading with other players for it. As far as trading goes, the best way by far is to farm prime parts via void relics and trade them to other players. Obviously you'll get more for rarer parts or complete sets than the common drops but as long as you've got the time it's easy enough to do.
I personally trade complete Prime warframe and weapon sets and I've managed to generate plenty of platinum doing so. Just a side note here too, sometimes it can be worth holding on to a prime set until after it disappears from the available relics. Prices do fluctuate with availability after all ?
Getting plat as a new player is kinda difficult. But the 2 things that you want to farm for is prime parts and endo. Prime parts can be accessed pretty easily as long as you are able to do the content to farm them. They yield decent plat but the thing is that you have a lot of competition when selling them. If you can get to a point where farming endo is not a problem, then that is the main way to make plat. Some people will buy rank 10 rare mods for hundreds of plat. It's mainly how I am able to afford my precious fashion frame.
Updated January 13, 2023 by Sid Natividad: Warframe is still going strong thanks to dedicated developers and a robust fanbase. There are still tons of players logging in each and every day to farm as many materials as possible and with new Warframes constantly being added to the game, it doesn't seem like Warframe will be slowing down anytime soon.
That's why having a Nekros warframe to farm these mods easily is a huge benefit. Do a bit of research whenever a new rare/uncommon mod gets introduced as to which enemies drop them and keep killing them until the mod appears. Players can get by using any other warframe and try their luck with said mods but the chances are too low without assistance from Nekros.
This definitely isn't the most "farmable" tactic and it is important to note that players will only receive Platinum as a reward if they manage to place in a given contest but it's definitely a route that players can go if they're looking for something fun to do.
Warframe's developers run a lot of contests and entering them is a great way to engage with the community and break up the monotony of endless farming. All of this is capped off by the possibility that players may win some Platinum for their time and effort. It's worth entering as many contests as possible because players never know when they might submit a winning entry.
Kuva Liches and Tenet Sisters are some of the most regular endgame activities that players keep doing and as such, there's a market around them. A lot of players will need their specific Requiem Mods to defeat their Lich/Sister because farming relies too much on luck.
A lot of players will also be on the lookout for those relics especially those who are farming the latest prime warframe or weapon. Axi relics are usually the most expensive ones to sell and in order to obtain them, players just need to keep high-level missions to earn them. This could change in future updates.
Much like corrupted mods, dual-stat mods in Warframe are valuable because they allow players to save some mod slots in their weapons. Some of these dual-stat mods even sell higher than the best Corrupted mod so they're more lucrative to farm.
Farming for Nightmare mods can be a healthy way to make some Platinum, especially if players get lucky enough to snag the "right ones." Just like anything else, some Nightmare Mods are more valuable than others so it's important to know which ones to keep an eye out for when attempting a farm like this. Nightmare missions are readily available.
Speaking of Vaulted Primes, Warframe did introduce a way to get them through the Prime Resurgence feature. These are limited stores where players can purchase two Vaulted warframes using a premium currency called Regal Aya or purchase the Vaulted Relics that drop these Vaulted warframe parts for a farmable currency called Aya. Varzia in Maroo's Bazaar on Mars runs the shop.
Another thing players can farm that sells for quite a hefty sum is Riven mods. Players can sell either veiled Riven mods for some small gains or auction out an unveiled one with killer stats and sell to the highest bidder. That's what's happening right now in Warframe's Riven market.
If players want something that's semi-consistent but still involves plenty of fun gameplay, then farming and selling Arcanes is the way. The most in-demand ones, such as Arcane Grace and Arcane Energize can be acquired from Eidolons on Earth or Orphix Veil Railjack missions.
Founded by the Tarter family in 1945 as the Tarter Gate Company, the business has expanded significantly in recent years to include a broad range of ranch and farm equipment. Today Tarter manufactures animal gates and fencing solutions, tractor implements, planters and fire rings, and animal feeding and handling equipment for ranchers, large institutional farms and smaller farming enthusiasts.
And to be fair, you can get several thousands Platinum just from trading in a justifiable time frame, but you need to understand how the market works and what items are worth to farm.
Make 5 solo-sortie-capable accounts, do the sortie 5 times a day for hela rivens, and farm kuva all day and by 8pm roll em and copy and paste all of your rivens in trade chat, be sure to know prices and overcharge everyone.
As a lower MR, if you need platinum I recommend you look at your relics and trade chat, see what items are in high demand, and see if you have matching relics, try and get the high demand items and sell them.
After a feasibility assessment and the endorsement of the South African Government, and securing initial emergency funding from key donors, African Parks agreed to purchase the farm, equipment and all the rhinos, but with one clear, sole intent: to rewild the 2,000 rhinos and their future offspring (estimated to be 100 per year) over the next 10 years, and to realise their conservation value.
"We admire what the Tarter family has built and have great respect for what the company means to its employees, customers and the communities they serve," said Platinum Equity co-president Jacob Kotzubei. "Family farms and ranches are a vital part of the U.S. agricultural economy. We believe Tarter is one of the only companies that has the capacity and capability to serve the largest and most demanding customers in the space."
Tarter's operations have grown to include approximately 1.1 million square feet of production facility space in two Kentucky communities and a manufacturing and distribution center in Corinne, Utah. The company sells products through retail channels and serves as a supplier to ranch and farm equipment OEMs.
"Tarter has taken pride in being a leader in the farm and ranch industry for more than 75 years," said Mr. Frazier. "This new and transformational partnership brings exciting growth opportunities for the employees, community and business, and positions us well to meet the needs of our customers in a very dynamic environment."
Platinum is one of the best resources to mine in-game due to its use for modifications. Thankfully, it's also easily available, though you need to know where to look before setting off. While vendors sell resources, there are several other ways to grab platinum in bulk.
Bondar has finite platinum deposits scattered on the surface, along with other materials, but there's enough to get you started so long as Spacers and scorching rain don't kill you first.
Platinum is a valuable and durable metal that New World players will use for crafting high-level jewelry and powerful Engineering and Arcana weaponry. Any New World player who wishes to build platinum equipment at a workbench must be a minimum level of 100 for Jewelcrafting and level 135 for Weaponsmithing, Engineering, and Arcana crafting.
To smelt the ingots needed for crafting equipment, players first have to reach a mining level 110 to acquire the platinum ore, a significantly higher requirement than mining gold or silver in New World. Based on one's Miner's Luck, there is also a chance that platinum ore veins can yield Tier III and IV gemstones from mining. Like any other ore vein in New World, finding the best places to farm platinum is simple as long as one knows where to look.
Platinum ore veins are distributed across Aeternum's regions, some containing more platinum than others. The best places to find and farm platinum in New World are in Reekwater, Edengrove, and Shattered Mountain. Players seeking to farm platinum have likely reached the point where they are well-versed in the threats and dangers of each region. Mining the platinum is easy, but safely getting to the ore veins requires preparation and planning.
Several clusters of platinum veins can be found along the mountainous western border of Reekwater, primarily around Skyview Repose and south of Mosswater Bourg. New World players going on mining expeditions in these areas should be wary that high-level enemies can spawn nearby, ranging from 40-60.
Edengrove is an excellent place to farm loads of platinum. Numerous mining nodes sit atop the rocky ridges west to the center of the region. There's also an optimal mining trail between Fanglethorn Pass and Creeping Reach that should offer plenty of spots to obtain platinum. The level of monsters and beasts here will vary, with the max reaching up to the mid-50s.
New World players should equip their best weapons and gear before entering the perilous realm of the Shattered Mountain. Deadly enemies at level 60 and higher roam this region, and will undoubtedly be a considerable threat to those trying to mine platinum. Fortunately, players able to survive in this zone can farm an abundance of platinum ore located to the west of the region.
