Description of the issue:
After updating Brave to the newest version of the beta; Netflix will no longer work and instead produces the following error message: m7121-1331. I followed all of the troubleshooting steps which were outlined on the Netflix website; ( ) but to no avail. I also installed the non-Beta version of Brave but the error message prevailed.

@stroxvfx,
On my end, Netflix is working on all Brave builds, on both macOS and Windows 10 systems. Can you check brave://compontents and see if Widevine has been properly installed?
You should see the following listed on the components pageimage1204426 69.5 KB

Perhaps I could try to remove said component and attempt to reinstall it by visiting Netflix again. I just remembered that: when uninstalling Brave during my initial troubleshooting; when I visited the the Netflix site post the fresh install I was not greeted with the popup to allow the Widevine module; as if it had stayed post the uninstall.

Since iOS 10 was just released to developers it is likely that Netflix is aware of the issue and working on it. This is the case with many iOS app developers no doubt. (This early they have to determine what changed in the code for iOS 10 or it could be that Netflix has a version checker for casting. Once they test a little more and are satisfied they will allow iOS 10 to cast.) You'll have to tough it out for a minute until an update is released. Just the pain point of installing beta software on your primary device.

But if you use Netflix Plugin via inputstrea.adaptive (Software Decode 1080p) youll get regularly black screens for few seconds. 720p software decode works with more movies /series via netflix Plugin - but not all.

I've just watched Disenchantment S02E01 from netflix at 1080p24 with hyperion active on a RPi4 4GB and didn't notice and screen dropouts or other issues. So not quite sure what might be going wrong on your setup.

A rather common cause for screen blackouts, especially with CPU demanding content like software decoded video or power demanding peripherals like USB HDDs or DVD drives are marginal power supplies - if you're not using the official RPi power supply (I use that here and it's fine) or if you have one or more bus-powered USB HDDs you might look into that.

4k playback with the dispmanx grabber / Hyperion active results in no signal on the HDMI output. There's currently no workaround or solution available, reason for that seems to be that the RAM bandwidth is just too high. This is a known issue and it will be fixed eventually (but seems to be a bit low priority - it needs to be fixed in the RPi firmware so not much we can do about it).

The other issue I frequently see here is no HDMI signal at all after a cold boot (on my 4kp60 screen) if Hyperion is active. A simple workaround for that is to start Hyperion after Kodi has started, I'm using a simple systemd drop-in here to do that:

A make a video where you can see the problem. Most of Netflix series working with 720p (setting in input stream). if you going to 1080p with activate addon you got the issue. The same movie with deactive hyperion works fine.

Oh, and for iPhone 15 peoples, the existing two-years free applies. Meaning that on the whole, Apple has deferred this potential-payment-problem decision till 2025. These days, the feature is available in the following countries, for both iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 users.

The core difference with an app like RideWithGPS is that it also has sensor support (even Garmin Varia radar integration), as well as uploads to all the various 3rd party platforms like a head unit (whereas Google Maps will most definitely not upload to Strava).

Two Things:
1-I like the PeakDesign phone holder on the handle bars, good choice!
2-I wish Peloton would allow none Peloton bikes to connect to their system, specifically for their scenic rides. I like to do those rides from time-to-time, but I am not a fan of the bike itself as I prefer to ride my Cannondale on my Wahoo.

Most other communicators (EPIRB/PLB, 911 call on a cell phone) will pass through an emergency call without any other charges, so long as the device functions. I think where Garmin and others in the satellite device arena are making their money is non-emergency check-ins and tracking, as well as messaging, rather than on a cost per emergency call.

I doubt it will ever happen, but it would be interesting if NordicTrack finally feels enough pressure to add Netflix to its platform after years of users having to use all kinds of workarounds to get it working.

Hi Ray, on my peloton bike+ (UK based) I only see the Disney App in the Beta Entertainment function. Is there a way of getting access to more providers or is all pushed depending on your country etc? There is the netflix app hidden away in the Apps area but there is no ride data displayed in a sidebar so pretty useless. Anyone else had similar experiences?

Since updating on my MacMini Netflix videos have a green hue when watching full screen. I tried disabling all my plug-in's and extensions and it's still green.. I've also tried disabling night-shift, with no luck.. Any ideas what could be going on?

I have the same issue, except it's system wide for me. Any app that can go into fullscreen video tints entirely green, or pink, or yellow until I move the mouse. Then, the image goes back to normal. I downgraded to Sierra, and the issue went away.

I probably won't upgrade back to High Sierra until I know the issue is fixed, because I use my Mini as a media hub that's hooked up to my HDTV in my living room. Fullscreen video is kind of important...

Same issue. MacMini with High Sierra, external HDTV monitor via HDMI. Only happens on streaming video in fullscreen mode. VLC in fullscreen with local file works as expected. Same situation where it clears up when the mouse is moved, but then returns a few seconds later. Doesn't matter if it's Safari or Chrome - same issue in both.

Hi J28374. Same problem here with MacBook Pro and an ASUS external monitor using the Mini Display Port connector and HDMI connector. It only happens with an external monitor. I've submitted a bug report to Apple.

NoelSV, A few people have said that they are having trouble with the green hue over videos in more platforms than just Netflix. Yesterday Apple made available their 3rd version of the beta and it seems to be working correctly. I can tell they are definitely working on it. Hopefully it will be permanently fixed in the next Gold Master which I would think will be released soon.

If so my douchie friend from across the pond, you are a shill and you drive to my mothers house every 2 days a reset her unit so she can watch movies. I bought it for her because it was supposed to be simple and I relied on the WD name.

However, yesterday afternoon while I was at work my wife called and told me that the Instant Queue was no longer available. I told her to use the Wii instead and it worked fine. I performed the reset procedure I found here and got it working again.

im having this issue as well now. i wanted to know if everyone here has blu-ray added to their netflix accounts? i just added blu-ray and now im having this issue. looking forward to the firmware update. i have no other complaints except the long startup times when the wdtv starts up. its much longer than the normal wdtv live.

another thing for those of you who are havng probelms reaching the deactivate option within wdtv. make sure you start pushing the arrow sequence once the netflix window opens up and starts to load up the queue. u should see the circular progress indicator when you push the buttons. if it reaches the queue error screen you were too slow.

Validate with: Run Netflix via edge Browser or native Windows App, Pick a 4k/HDR program, play, press SHFT-CTRL-ALD-D to see diagnostics. Observe resolution is only 1920x1080 instead of 4k. Note that to be able to play in Edge Browser you should in before have also enabled PlayReady via "edge://flags".

The last three lines are the problems. They show there is no HDCP 2.2 support, HDR10 support or 4k support. This is specifically for PlayReady rendering via edge of course, but the Netflix app does of course also use PlayReady.

Its mindboggling now negligent Intel is about this and how Intel does not seem to care about the frustration this creates with customers (ok: with me. Don't want to talk for others). NVidia has HDCP 2.2 status in its control panel.

Of course, Netflix is equally annoying. They also do not have any user information about whether or not HDCP 2.2 is supported. Netflix app/web-page just don't show 4K and HDR logos on the media when it does not detect HDCP 2.2 support.

My suspicion is that HDCP 2.2 with Intel iGPU (even all those 11th/12th gen iGPU with built-in HDMI 2.0!) will not work unless the device manufacturer goes through a lot of additional BIOS/ME work and maybe even other hassles. And seemingly none of the lower cost mini pc vendors has done this. I say this, because beelink for example is also missing the Windows 3D mode setting, and the ak1plus box does not even support HDMI 2.0 18 Gbps solutions, but only the 10Gbps resolution of 3180x2160@60Hz - but then of course without HDR. Aka: all the details of video output that seemingly with Intel iGPU are part of (video) BIOS.

On AMD APU, it looks to me as if this is all only in the AMD driver, and i have not seen any hardware with AMD iGPU that has managed to NOT deliver 3D, 18Gbps or HDR. In fact, motherboards built before Ryzen was out and claimed to support only HDMI 1.4 where later updated in documentation to also support HDMI 2.0, because Ryzen then supported HDMI 2.0 and the pin is just pased from APU to HDMI connector. And i was hoping the same would be true now with 11th/12th gen Intel iGPU. Alas, seemingly not.
