Neitherputting in the actual ip of the server worked (as in \\192.168.1.xx). It did however work from all other devices that I have. So i figured it must have been something LTSC related and in fact after a lot of searching I came across a thread on microsoft forums that suggested something policy related was behind the error. And in fact it was, it appears guest access is disabled by default on network shares in LTSC versions of windows.

currently there is no problem about ESET and windows LTSC. but I hope the situation can be clarified. (like windows 1809 with Eset 10.x is not supported by the chart but they are supported by Microsoft and currently 10.x works fine on 1809 LTSC)

I would like to use Ignition perspective for our project. Is Ignition supports the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021? In the system requirements web page, it is just mentioned as windows OS supports but how to check the specific windows OS type supports or not?

Ignition is basically platform independent and supports the Windows platform. It also supports Linux.

You can use any of the well-known web interfaces. Chrome ver 57 up, Edge Ver 16 up, Firefox Ver52 up and Safari ver 11 up. In general, the supported browser listed above do a good job at staying up to date with implementation and support of these new specifications.

The general policy is to only use features that have been supported for some time, whenever possible. Overall, they will always recommend that you keep your browser up to date to take advantage of browser features, fixes, and most importantly for security updates.

We deploy many Ignition systems each year and are slowly moving away from Win Server (standard in our corner of the automation industry) and testing Win10 IOT as something our clients consider palatable. I'm not concerned about installing Ignition direct on Windows and loading our golden gateway backup, but I am always up for optimizing deployments. Our rugged server vendor can pre-load a custom drive image on our units, then we can use containers/stacks to deploy just as we are starting to do in our non-prod environments.

I tried a clean install multiple times on both Windows 10 Enterprise computers, after uninstalling the twingate & tap adapter + multipass from Windows Add/Remove Programs and also deleted the C:\ProgramData\chocolatey directories.

The multipass app icon in the windows system tray & the hyper-v manager console in windows both show the virtual machine is running, it was automatically created & given the connector name by the powershell choco install twingate-connector script.

So I finally got around to installing the 2021 edition of Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC. I have the full licensed IoT version which is good until 2032, and it runs pretty well so far. The final result is two templates in my Qubes 4.1 machine:

Also, in theory someday that will be part of the main distribution and will not have to be done (as qvm-create-windows-qube automatically tries to install it from the main distribution)

Yes. In the initial setup Kiosk after entering the product key and saving, Safeguard will attempt to access the Microsoft activation servers. Safeguard will need to be able to directly access these servers and access a DNS server to resolve the Microsoft servers.

Windows 10 as well as Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 are not available from 30th October 2022. Could someone update KB and confirm if Windows 11 and Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 Upgrade are acceptable by SPP VA

Please do not mix end of support and end of sales. If Customer (as in our case) doesn't have Volume Licence agreement with MS, only option to get required Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC licence is to buy Windows 10 Pro and then upgrade to Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC. But Windows 10 Pro isn't availabba anymore for sales in MS channel. On MS webpage it is possible to purchise till 31st January 2023. There is no way to get required license after that date.

Windows 10 LTSC is designed for use on clients and not suitable for deploying SPP. To get more information, you can look into reddit windows keys topics where you can find more insights. Be sure to purchase a license from a reputable source, avoiding counterfeit or stolen keys.
