I am trying to find a way to find the v4.2 GSD, but I'm unable to find it on Siemens web page. Is this the solution I need or maybe it is easier to do another thing like downgrading firmware from v4.2 to v4.2?

clear info is required, do you mean with add this station to some network like Profibus/Profinet or project this station as HW cfg working but isn't available in HW catalogue? This is important to differ because then you need maybe some HSP or HW Catalogue update. Pls take this to account for future.

That is right, I have this ET200 SP connected to a profinet network and I have version 4.1 in hardware catalog, but not version 4.2 which is the version of the hardware. I tried downloading the HSP package for TIA v15 (link below), but the hardware I am looking for is not in there.
