we logged some defects erroneously since the story is still in development ,
is there a way to convert a defect to a task under a backlog item?

Thanks,
Josh

Josh,
There is a Convert to Story/Convert to Defect (for the opposite of which
it currently is) on the action dropdown at the right of the grid on the
Release Planning and Sprint Tracking views. This lets you toggle a
Defect to a Story or Story to Defect.

Hi Josh,
There is currently no capability via the UI to convert a Defect to a
Task.

Thanks -

Lee
