MS Project error when opening mpx file

I have MS Project Pro 2007 and am trying to open an exported mpx file
from one of my projects in VersionOne. I consistently get the error
below. Is there a known problem with Project 2007? Will other versions
of MS Project work?

Being able to read data in a Gantt chart format is very important to
Adobe. I think this is the only way I can get that. Here is the dialog
that opens with the error.

Microsoft Office Project Dialog Box
An import error occurred.
Check row 1 column 18

To continue importing with additional error messages, click Yes.
To continue importing with no error messages, click No.
To stop importing, click Cancel.

If I click Yes, it gives me similar errors in column 19, Then it tells
me I have problems in row 2 column 18. This repeats for all rows of
Columns 18 and 19. The file never opens up.

If I click No, it closes Microsoft Project and wants to send an error
message to Microsoft.

I am able to open in MS Project 2003.
