We are using the V1 Ultimate edition hoping to find out how to generate the following type of reports:

1)      Show a report that has defects entered by day. Just a count of new defects entered for the day. Not worried about status, saw the report that can group

2)      Show a report that has number of defects flipped to the Done status by day.

3)      Show a report on newly entered backlog items by day.

4)      Show a report on backlog items moved to done status by day.

5)      Show a daily report on defect and backlog items closed out per day.

Thanks,

>>REPORTS>>TESTING/QUALITY REPORTS  There are a number of delivered trend reports that will show this type of information by day.  Just select day in the report configuration dropdown.  Try it, you’ll get it.

Hope This Helps,

Jim

Hi Rob,

You can get these types of reports possibly via the API. Here's a
link to sample code: http://community.versionone.com/sdk/Documentation/CoreAPI.aspx

Also if you are running VersionOne locally, you can setup a datamart
and use Excel or other reporting tools.

Final options would be working with our Services group to setup some
training or pair up with you to help write some of these with the
API. If you are interested in this let me know and I can work with
you on costs and details.

Thanks Luanne for the info. Will give the API approach a try.
