We have some users that get frustrated when the hover comes up when they are working and seem to run into issues where it does not go away easily, which obscures the view when they do their stand up meetings (and other meetings).  It is a great feature, but I think it would be good to have an easy to access control to enable and disable it from each screen.

Thanks,

Tom

I agree that the hover over windows are a bit annoying when you don't
want them there.
I've seen other applications solve this by having a little 'x' in the
upper right corner to close the hover window.

Currently the ability to disable hover is not part of the current
feature set within VersionOne. My best advice for the quickest way to
make the hover go away is once the hover box appears persistent, go
back and hover over the title of the item that created the hover and
as you pass over it the hover should go right away. I hope this helps
for now and I will add this to the requested feature enhancement list
for the product team.

The same thing happens to us.  Sometimes it behaves well and other times it seems to hang there an unnecesarily long time.  A quick fix might be to put an X (close) icon next to the discussion/links/paperclip attachments icons that allows us to get rid of it when it overstays its welcome.

When it seems to be hanging you can make it disappear by placing your mouse cursor over the hover and then immediately placing the cursor outside the hover.
