VersionOne Sync With Jira

We are able to sync newly created defects/Userstories in Jira to VersionOne. But when we update any field(like priority,title,description or status) in versionOne , it is not reflected in JIRA. We tried with all permutations and combinations for these but no luck. We also elevated the previleages in both system. Both system, we created 'vone' user and created and updated defects through this user login. This user is System admin rights in both systems.

we are using

JIRA:  6.3.14

VersionOne: Ultimate Edition (one version prior to Winter 2015 release)

The only thing which is left out is running servicehost.exe as a service. We had run integrator exe through administrator command line. Can anybody suggest us what we should check.How we could further dignose the problem...any pointers will be welcome.

The JIRA integration does not have bi-directional sync. It simply creates VersionOne defects/stories from JIRA issues, and when those defects/stories are closed in VersionOne, it closes them in JIRA.
