We at Versatile Arts have been a bit lax about putting on shows this spring, but that's about to change! I am pleased to announce that we will be producing at show at our old home, the Little Red Studio, on June 9 - this time featuring our talented staff! Here's the official announcement:
"There Must Be Something in the Air..."
An Evening of Intimate Aerial Entertainment
Wednesday, June 9, 8 pm
at the Little Red Studio, 400 Dexter Ave (at Harrison)
Aerial acts can be many things: exciting, dramatic, comedic,
emotional. They can also be sensual, even intimate - and that is the
flavor of aerial artistry that we are bringing you with this event.
This show features the fantastically talented - and drop-dead sexy -
staff of Versatile Arts, returning to our original home at the Little
Red Studio for one night only.
Please join us in the Little Red
Bistro before the show to sample some of our aerial-themed specialty
cocktails, including the Rope Burn and the Star Drop.
Tickets
for this event are $20 and are available on Brown Paper Tickets (
http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/110690). A limited number of VIP seats are available for
$50, which includes a reserved booth seat, one cocktail, and booth-side
valet and cocktail service. Our staff for the evening will include not
just the performers themselves but also some of our favorite dancers
from that venerable and soon-to-vanish institution, the Lusty Lady.
Proceeds
from this event will go toward financing Versatile Arts' impending move
to a bigger, better, and more beautiful home. Details will be revealed
at the show!
Doors open at 7:30, show at 8:00. This show will
run approximately 90 minutes, including an intermission/dance break.
The Bistro will be open beforehand for dinner and cocktails.
