Clearing travelled routes displayed via 'HT app' APRS map

I'm hoping this isn't a case of user error ... i.e. of me overlooking a documented way to do this, but after an hour of searching in the N7500 manual (Nov 2022 edition) and online via Google searches, and trying a number of things, incl. clearing the APRS data and rebooting the Android phone frontend, I've not been able to find a means to clear my previously travelled routes from the APRS map display, and so I'm asking if anyone knows a reasonable way to do this. (By 'reasonable' I mean a method which doesn't involve deleting/reinstalling the app or similar heavy-handed technique.)

The radio firmware is 0.8.4 and the app s/w is 2.9.2.1.
