Trying to install on ubuntu 20.04.02LTS and getting the following output from package installation. Does anyone know why it is throwing this error?

$ sudo dpkg -i vernemq-1.12.0.focal.x86_64.deb

Hi Eric,

it's an error in the internal build for .deb packages. Exactly as stated in the error message. I'm trying to debug it currently. (that is debug why the script is generated as is).
Best,
André

Hi Eric,
The following issue comment should have a solution: https://github.com/vernemq/vernemq/issues/1818#issuecomment-877632233
This applies to debian packages with both release 1.12.0 and 1.12.1

Hope this helps
André
