VSP Update

I apologize for having not issued any updates for several weeks. It has been a very busy summer, I was a way for a couple of weeks, and I have been devoting some time to working on climate change.

 

For those of you, who perhaps like me, could use a little more hope about our dire situation regarding population growth, climate change, the sixth great extinction, and a whole host of other environmental and social problems there is an event coming up that I will be attending in Montpelier and you might be interested in also. Note that the program also happens in Burlington.

 

A shortened version of the excellent new movie, Hooked on Growth, put out by gorwthbusters.org is also now available. It is about 45 minutes compared to the original version of 90 minutes.  I will be happy to come and show that movie anyplace in Vermont. Of course I still have my power point talk on What is a Sustainable Population for Vermont that I can also show. Locally, planning commissions, conservation boards, environmental groups, church organizations, etc. could be the sponsors of a showing of one or both.
