VSP has just received two dvd’s that you might be interested in viewing.

One is Growth Busters: Hooked on Growth which Paul Ehrlich says, “This could be the most important film ever made.” It is about David Gardner from growthbusters.org and how he took on the pro growth people of Colorado Springs after seeing the area grow so dramatically and the environment destroyed in just a few decades.

The other is Mother: Caring for 7 Billion and is about world overpopulation.

Both films are excellent and both have Bill Ryerson in them from the Population Media Center in Shelburne.

If you would like to borrow them just let me know.

 

I am also very pleased to report that the Vermont Sierran newsletter has a member commentary by me about Our Moral Responsibility and urging people to take our pledge. This is the first time another state environmental organization has ever given me the opportunity to submit a commentary! My deepest thanks are extended to Conservation Organizer Dave Van Deusen who is a very bold and creative leader of the Vt. Chapter.

May I add the film can be ordered at www.growthbusters.org, and we are counting on advocates around the world to organize community screenings and house party screenings to open the eyes of more and more people about limits to growth.
