Hello VES Members,

I want to let you know about a workshop on grasshoppers and crickets that we are scheduling for October 25^th. Plans have not been totally firmed up yet, but I thought that folks who are interested might like to reserve the date.  Here are early notes about the workshop:

 

Date:                Sunday, October 25

Time:                1 until 3:30 or 4:00

Location:          Probably the Hornbeam Lounge at Wake Robin in Shelburne, provided it is available. 

Program:          Dr. Ross Bell will present a brief ID session on crickets and grasshoppers, with behavioral anecdotes along with pictures and keys. This will be an indoor session. If you have specimens, feel free to bring them.

 

More details will be sent out later.  If you are likely to attend, it would be great if you could let me know so that I can make sure we have plenty of space.
