Hi everyone, this is Miguel from Ecuador,

 I have been building vermifilters since 2017 in Ecuador, here we dont have strong regulations and permits as you guys must have in your countries, this in some way has allowed us to build quite a bit of systems here in Ecuador, at least 150 systems with different set ups, from small systems to medium size Toha system for treating 30 - 50m3 /day, also we combine vermifilter as primary tratment with wetlands as secondary... getting very clean effluents,

I really liked this web page because you want to keep the technology open source, that is my idea also, and my practice, currently I am writing a manual for building vermifilters, free download the first version, once is published I will let you know... Am excited to share with you all our innovations, and learn also yor advances.

Very cool, Miguel! Great to hear that you are having so much success in Ecuador. 

I have our tiny completed system here, built with what I think might be the first US permit for vermifilter septic. We haven't put it into use yet since we don't have a house or plumbing yet -- working on that now. 

You might also be interested in vermicompostingtoilets.net if you haven't already found it. It is another open-source site focusing on small scale (IBC-tote) septic systems. That's what we built at our house.

Love the open-source sharing! Gotta promote this great technology. I'm excited to see your book!
