I've scoured the internet in search of the correct pronunciation, but to no avail, nothing did it justice; And as the only lyrics found are in the native tongue, in which vowels and consonants sound divergent, I've decided to tab it out myself! So without further ado, I PRESENT TO YOU. The circle of life....

As Mufasa himself explains later in the movie, the "Circle of Life" that the song refers to is the delicate cycle, the natural world (wildlife, ecosystem, environment, biodiversity etc.) and balance of nature (predators eat prey, predators become grass when they die, prey eat the grass). Scar's reign disrupts the Circle of Life, though it is restored when Simba defeats him. Likewise, a plot point in The Lion Guard is for Kion to learn how to properly protect the Circle of Life.

The song takes place at the very beginning of the film, the dawn of Simba's presentation. As the song progresses, various African animals travel together through the Pride Lands to gather at Pride Rock. There, Rafiki meets up with the current King of the Pride Lands, Mufasa and his mate Sarabi. After blessing their newborn cub, Simba, Rafiki lifts him up high for all the animals to see, the animals rejoiced and bowed before their future king.

When Scar kills Mufasa and lets the hyenas run rampant on Pride Lands, the Circle of Life is broken, and the Pride Lands become decimated with droughts, famine, and overhunting from the hyenas, with animal skeletons lying all around with Scar as the king. These combined factors cause the remaining animals to leave the kingdom, therefore leaving the lions and hyenas with no food and water.

Umm hmm
Oh ho
Oh ho
Oh ho
Oh ho

From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking step into the sun
There's more to be seen than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
Some say, eat or be eaten
Some say, live and let live
But, all are agreed as they join the stampede
You should never take more than you give

In the circle of life
It's the wheel of fortune
It's the leap by faith
It's the band of hope
Till, we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle
The circle of life

Some of us fall by the wayside
And some of us soar to the stars
And some of us sail through our troubles
And some have to live with the scars
There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rollin' high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps the great and small on the endless round

In the circle of life
It's the wheel of fortune
It's the leap by faith
It's the band of hope
Till, we find our place
On the path unwinding, yea
In the circle
The circle of life
(chorus repeats)

On the path unwinding, yea
In the circle
The circle of life

Speaking on the special features of The Lion King remake Blu-ray, composer of for both versions of the film, Hans Zimmer, revealed that the reason the song "The Circle of Life" ends the way it does, with a simple drum beat, is because he was racing to complete the song before the directors and producer of the original Lion King arrived to hear it.

It's been 25 years since Hans Zimmer first wrote the music to "Circle of Life," so he apparently had forgotten just why he ended the piece the way he did. It wasn't because he was looking for an epic conclusion to punctuate the song. It certainly feels like it was all intentional, the drum hit comes as the title of the movie is first revealed. It works perfectly, so you might think it was all done intentionally, but the reality is that's far from the case,
