It depends what formats your printer can print. You will need to check the specifications for this printer. In AccuMark, you can generate to DXF and HPGL. The set up is in Piece or Marker Plot Options when choosing to plot as a "DOS File" from Piece or Marker Plot processing forms. That means, you are generating files for printing or plotting but to a folder rather than directly to a print or plot queue. To start, open the plot options on the Output Tab in AccuMark Explorer V10 and choose a plot format. Alternatively, you can also get to the Plot Options from the View menu in the plot forms. Then, set a path location where the files will be saved and give the files a common extension like .dxf or .plt. The options for non-Gerber plotters would be DXF or HPGL.
To run this module in a browser, it should be bundled with a tool like browserify or webpack. If you are using the script tag installation method instead, there will be a global variable gerberPlotter available after you have included gerber-plotter.min.js.
I recently had the opportunity to work with an older Gerber enVision plotter from a township. I had major difficulties getting the old version of Omega working with their USB licensing stick, and I knew that getting anything like this working on Windows without proper licensing would be an inadvisable, and rocky road ahead.
Assumptions
This tutorial will assume that you have some prior experience with the Linux terminal and the Linux desktop. On my test computer, I was working with a clean installation of Ubuntu 12.04 (12.04.1) LTS. However, any Ubuntu or Debian flavor should be acceptable. I am also assuming you have an older Gerber enVision series plotter. If this is not the case, I imagine most of these instructions will apply fairly well to any kind of vinyl plotter.
Ubuntu & This Plotter
In order to establish proper communications between the computer and the plotter, I had to ensure some things were true. I reset my plotter to the factory default settings, which resulted in a condition where I could assume this about my serial connection:
A bunch of the online viewers also use the same underlying code.
Have you tried the ucamco viewer?
They are a company that actually makes the machines that make gerber plotters, which suggest they probably have a more reliable gerber viewer.
I have a CE 6000-60 plotter, I stared getting error messages all of the sudden. I can usual get 3-4 jobs cut before they start. E01009 illegal hardware code, E01006 hardware address load error, E03001 HPGL error 1 instructions not recognized, E03002 HPGL error 2 wrong number of parameters.
They come in on the plotter in any order. I use Gerber 5.0 software. I've tried reinstalling everything, firmware updates, I just don't know what's up with it. I'm really not educated on plotters and settings. I use it for work cutting basic letters to identify equipment.
The software is Gerber Omega 5.0. The plotter has worked flawlessly for 2 years, I have another setup running the same type plotter and type software with no issues on it. Just one machine giving me problems.
Preferences allow the user to select preferred settings for working in Pattern Design. Settings made in Plotter Preferences determine: which parameter tables are used, whether or not the plot form is used, which sizes will plot, the current plotter, cut parameters, and other details. When using the Plot Form, these plotter settings are referenced.

Favorable Group Limited was established in 2005, specialized in the research, development and production of spare parts and consumables for cutter, plotter and spreader machines. "Favorable" is our own brand. Our products are suitable for the auto cutters like Gerber, Lectra, Bullmer, Yin, PGM, FK, Eastman, IMA, Takatori, Kuris, Investronica, OROX, etc.
There are seminal products that absolutely helped to define our industry, and not all of them are wide-format printers - we take a look back at the Signmaker IVB plotter from Gerber, launched circa 1983.
Those that purchased a IVB had other ideas, they bought into the USP of "Greater Productivity, Greater Profit Margins", they also realised that many customers didn't want, and indeed couldn't afford, bespoke art for their shops or vehicles, they wanted an easier and lower cost option - with a Gerber plotter you could deliver on that need, and produce simple signs for A-boards, shop fronts, windows and vehicles, in a fraction of the time, and at a fraction of the cost.
Ironically, with todays wide format printers we have gone full circle. The art is back, and now creativity not possible with a simple vinyl cutting plotter, can again be sold for a premium price. A sign that may have taken days or even weeks to create as a one-off handpainted original, can, with suitable software and printer, be designed digitally, and then be reproduced at the click of a button for use on advertising, vehicles, shop fronts, windows, as well as t-shirts, cups, mousemats, and more. Surely that is a win-win for the more creative?
