Hi, I am trying to figure out why there is a blue border below the header of every Mobile app. None of the components or themes are set to have a blue color, yet it still appears. I even tried with a fresh new app and it's there by default.
Just following up on this, because I am making a lot of functional mockups right now in Retool Mobile to show off app ideas and I hesitate to show them off to decision makers because that blue top border looks like an oversight.
Oh, that's super helpful. I looked at a few other examples and it seems like this blue line is related to the new Runtime (blue line means new Runtime). You can click on the Runtime section in the bottom of your apps to remove the blue line.
I've been trying to use the new (blue) Etsy seller app since they first reached out to me and asked me to test it out. I've been frustrated with it from day 1. Now, I don't like change anyway but come on, the changes from the old to the new app don't even make sense.
I just saw today that we are going to have to use the Etsy seller app (blue one) as they are going to phase out the Sell On Etsy app (orange) by the end of May. I've been trying to use the Etsy seller app but it will NOT load any pictures either on my phone (Android) or Ipad that has up to date software. I get the circle of death on loading photos. It never increases above 0% and I get an error message. Frustrating knowing we are going to be forced to use it & it doesn't work.
From reading the response of others, it's a shame that a new app has been rolled out, yet it functionally is not up to par compared to the old one. I don't use the apps and still have the Banner Notification prompting me to download the new app (which isn't going to happen). If you're not going to make the new app better than the old, why do it at all (rhetorical question).
I had been using the new blue app fairly well until 2 days ago. Now when I hit create new listing it blips for split second to the page and then reverts to the listing page summary I started from. GRRRRR I keep reporting the issue /feedback daily. Very frustrated with this poor performance.
I keep trying the new blue Etsy app, as soon as something doesn't work I click the ' + Feedback ' button and let Etsy know in the hope they'll get things sorted and make the required improvements. Not long left on the old app now!
So when I restored my IPhone 5 from backup my old apps did not download at the time, now when I go to download the apps they are stuck on the blue circle with a square but won't download and arnt appearing on my phone.
I've tried all the tricks I've read in other forums, including holding sleep/wake button and home button, logging out of the App Store, resetting the settings, nothing works and I can't download all the apps I had originally. I've also tried different apple IDs and it's still the same...
They started downloading on wifi but they lost connection so they didn't download at that present time and now they've done disapeared. I don't know why the blue circle and square is still there, that's what I'm trying to solve; how to get that to go back to the 'GET' icon so i can re download them.
Sounds like you may have to erase your device and set it up as a new device from scratch by manually downloading your apps. I'm not sure of any other way to resolve the issues as you have described it. Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings.
I need clean HDMI output, that was my primary object. EOS R5 is listed as supporting clean output. And yet over HDMI I cannot get rid of the (explicative) blue box over my face. I thought, well maybe they just expect me to pay money to get rid of it so I tried the Webcam Utility and that too had the blue box. So now I am wondering, is there some special setting that controls this, OR worse, is this a bug in the latest firmware?
I was only testing with the Windows 11 builtin Camera app. In photo mode it tracks faces with a blue box. I mistook this for the AF point(s) in Movie Servo mode. You cannot disable this face tracking feature in the Camera app so I also assumed that it wasn't the Camera app b/c surely you would be able to disable such a nuisance! Nope, thanks MSFT! FYI it is the live preview only that has the blue box for photos (not videos). If you take a photo or video it won't be there.

You can use the fepblue app to easily find a doctor. Search for in-network providers, pharmacies and urgent care centers near you. If you have a MyBlue account, you get access to an enhanced provider directory with additional information and procedure cost estimates.
Just before Christmas I installed a 1Password8 update (beta channel) on my MacBook Pro running Ventura. After the update I noticed that the App icon in /Applications and the Dock was now all blue. At first I assumed it was a deliberate change related to the festive season until I noticed that another Mac running the exact same version still had the normal icon.
So I can have the (nice) regular icon and the production release, or the (horrid) beta icon and the beta release but not the nice icon with the beta release. I pretty much always run the beta release (so I can report issues more rapidly) but I really hate the all blue icon. Guess I will just revert to production then.
Hi there,
My icon changes between Beta and Production versions: sometimes it is regular sometimes blue.
I do not jump between release channels.
My Release Channel is currently set to Production but yet have the beta icon.
On the about page it states I am on the BETA channel.
What is occurring and how do I fix?
Thanks in advance.
Andrew
This technique can eliminate downtime due to app deployment. In addition, blue-green deployment reduces risk: if something unexpected happenswith your new version on Green, you can immediately roll back to the lastversion by switching back to Blue.
Now that both apps are up and running, switch the router so all incomingrequests go to both the Green app and the Blue app.Use the cf map-route command to map the original URL route (demo-time.example.com) to the Green app.
Some of my photos would never sync up properly or I could never open them because DropBox would not for some reason download them properly and would always be stuck in "syncing" with no progress. I uninstalled and reinstalled DropBox on my desktop and now it tries to resync the entire library. About half way through, it consistently causes my computer to crash with the blue screen with message SERVICE_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. My computer won't crash when I'm not running DropBox. Please help!
Hey Megan, it looks like when I restart it tries to resync 67,000 files. Once it gets down to 33,000 left to sync, it causes the blue screen of death crash and says "SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION" but with no error code. It's consistently around the same amount of syncing progress each time that it fails. I have tried to uninstall DropBox and restart numerous times only to find that DropBox is back installed again. It looks like my DropBox version is 161.4.4923. I found out that my computer has never created restore points (running Windows 10) and it won't let me manually create restore points as the VSS writer services fail every time. I restart each VSS writer only to have them do it again (even when those services are placed in automatic). I'm not sure if the VSS services are related to the DB sync issues but I'm pretty sure that if I can uninstall DropBox and then create a restore point for a restart image on my Windows computer that I should be able to do a clean reinstall. I downloaded the "Dropbox offline installer" file but it fails to install every time even after uninstalling DropBox. I have uploaded pics to Dropbox from my iPhone but then I can't open them on any other device with the same account, even though it shows uploaded to DropBox. It is extremely frustrating as I run a real estate business and can't function with these issues. Please help!
People are now looking at computer screens or mobile devices for several hours a day. All of the digital devices we use on a regular basis emit blue light, a high-energy short-wave light that we are naturally exposed to throughout the day.
Blue light is not only emitted through digital devices, but from things like fluorescent and LED light bulbs to sunshine. Regular exposure to blue light is not actually detrimental to our health: high-energy blue light can positively impact your mood and energy, and even help you think more clearly.
However, it is the repeated long-term exposure to blue light through our digital devices that can begin to have a negative impact on your health in a variety of ways, some of which can cause irreversible damage.
Most devices come with at least a basic, built-in app for this purpose, but you have to know how to best utilize and customize them (and actually turn them on) to reap their benefits. Because of the way they reduce contrast and distort screen color, blue light filter apps are typically geared toward evening and nighttime use so that eyes are allowed to properly relax as they normally would during these hours. Since many people rely on seeing true color and contrast for the work they do on their digital devices they are not always the best protection option for heavy computer users.
F.lux is probably the best free, popular app that adjusts your display to a more natural color spectrum, and changes from daytime to nighttime hours. You can custom set the balance to different times of day, or use the default settings to make it easy. F.lux works on a broad variety of devices, including Apple, and Android. F.lux also uses the color transform approach which is a far superior method to the color overlay approach used by most light filter apps. Although both methods appear to reduce the same amount of blue light, the color overlay tends to significantly reduce display contrast leading to eye strain.
