It would be awesome if we could create the timeline from a string instead of a file.

Is a feature like this in the works?

Does anyone know of a hack in the source code to implement this functionality?

Thanks Everyone

Hi Trevor,

I am using JSON to create the timeline. Did you have any specific questions? The example JSON can be found under file formats->JSON.

good luck!

Hi

Does anyone find a solution ? Timeline.js is so cool but creating JSon files is so heavy and mainly when you use it from a database !

Thanks

No hacking is necessary. You can create a Javascript object in your page and use it as the 'source' in the timeline config.
