Hi Zach/'Fellow Timeliners',

I'd like to be able to run my timeline completely offline (e.g. in the conference room where there is no Internet connection) and preferably be able to share my Timelines with colleagues for them to open from a USB stick or CD/DVD through their own browser.

I am currently building and viewing my timeline successfully in local host (with XAMPP) with all my images, videos and docs stored locally rather than being Cloud/Internet based. Obviously trying to run it from scratch without an Internet connection fails but if already opened and loaded in the browser before losing a connection it will continue to run offline.

Have I interpreted the earlier 'How to Work with Sources' post correctly in that if all the js files were contained in the local js folder and my HTML index page then called each of them in the order shown, then the page would run successfully offline - with the browser finding all the necessary files on the local storage device? Without the need for a server to compile? Forgive my ignorance I'm an enthusiastic beginner and not an experienced web developer. If my interpretation is not relevant to what I seek, are you able to offer a solution?

It's an excellent timeline solution - my partner says she's a Timeline Widow! I've been so addicted! Well done

Best wishes

Darren

P.S. a great future development would be multiple images/videos within a single event window - with thumbnail selection to view/play within that slide

The json and jsonp examples should work fine offline. You just need to include jquery in the head. You might run into problems with the .json one with Chrome because of a security restriction though. Also, the font options will not be available when working offline.
