Why do some image URLs get taken over by Page Peeker and others don't? What is the problem and is there any way to avoid the issue, while still using the same URL?

Here is my example:

What it looks like:

Hi Rosa,

I'm not sure I understand the question. Can you provide a link to your timeline and the spreadsheet you're using to build it?

Thanks,
Ryan

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for responding.

You will notice half of the images in the timeline display with "Page Peeker" (all from the same source).

What is the difference between the Flickr image urls and those that are appearing with the Page Peeker window? Is there anyway to avoid Page Peeker from appearing?

Thank you much,

Rosa

Hi Rosa,

That's a strange problem. We don't know of anyone else who has tried to use Page Peeker photos. But TimelineJS has built in support for Flickr ... is it possible to take the photos that are currently at umn.edu and post to Flickr?

That's probably the quickest solution.

Ryan

I'm having the same problem. The Page Peekers come sporadically with Flickr images, but I'm having overall problems with Flickr (as are all 18 of my students, so it's not just me). I'll get either a broken link icon, a Page Peeker with its annoying spinning icon, or a teeny tiny thumbnail with the link back to Flickr. None are usable, of course.

Would love to know how to solve.
