Week 2—Experiencing & Sharing The Kingdom of God

Morning, Veritas!

Hope all of you’ve had a good week as we close down the 5-day work week (some of you will definitely be doing 6).  Thank you for the good session this past Sunday.  I hope that this will be a lively Fall as we wrestle with our own hearts and fears regarding evangelism.  

Gary, Derek, & I talked about pulling out chairs for this upcoming Sunday to see if we can promote even more of a collaborative environment in the sanctuary.  We’ll give it a go and see how it works. 

Quick preview:  we’re going to be discussing the second part of the class title and see if we can better understand what The Kingdom of God is and how the reality of it in our lives should move us to a greater joy in Jesus and out to love our family/neighbors.  

One more thing:  begin (or continue) praying for your heart to be revived to the Good News again and for the hearts of those around you that the Lord may be calling you to share the message of Jesus.  

Mark 1:17:  “And Jesus said to them, "Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men."
