Friends,

I hope that all of you are having a great week. I'm looking fwd to being with you this Sunday as we continue our study through "the cleanest pages of our bibles."

This week, we journey into places like Tarshish & Ninevah. I'll bet you can guess which minor prophet is next. I must say that our study will present a nuanced look on our most well known minor prophet. I encourage you to read his 4 chapters between now & Sunday. As you read, consider the state of the prophet's heart compared to God's heart regarding the Ninevites and why.

See you soon,

Trey

Friends,

“For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭15:4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

I ran across this verse today & thought about our SS class as we move forward in our study through "the cleanest pages of our Bibles". Despite getting heavy doses of God's giving oracles of woe & judgment against His people, the hope is that we see the "encouragement" to run to Him for the mercy we need.

The plan is to dive into Micah on Sunday. There is good medicine in his message.

Please remember to pray for Hal Coleman & Mrs. Coleman as they deal with the loss of Mr. Coleman.
