This morning I found that my backups didn't complete last night
because the backup server couldn't authenticate to a particular
server. I confirmed the resource credentials, confirmed the account
wasn't locked out on the domain, and attempted to test the credentials
through backup exec. I can click the button but the tests aren't
run. No errors are being thrown in BE or the OS(w2k3).

Okay...so this is weird but...
Found this link on the Veritas forums: http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/275032.htm
which details setting some COM permissions. Question now is what
changed? Last week everything worked fine and now this...odd. Ah
well, it appears to be working now.
