Hi everyone,
I am very new to RTL linting and am very fascinated by Verible. I am unable to install and use Verible on my verilog files. I have been trying for a week to get it to work but I am unable to. I am getting some errors which I haven't been able to resolve after a lot of efforts. I am attaching the error screenshots.
It would be amazing if anyone can help me get some clarity on how to get Verible working because I have tried everything to get it installed.

Thanks,
Abhinav

For building some of the subsystems, you need to have flex and bison installed on the system you're building this on. We try to get this better integrated in the current build-setup, but for now, you have to install these first on your system to get going.

Alternatively to get started right away, you can also try one of the pre-built releases in  https://github.com/google/verible/releases

Let us know how it goes,
Henner.

Hello and welcome,
The error message in your screenshot is saying it cannot find GNU flex in your path.  It is a required and common tool for building Verible (and one of its dependencies, Kythe).  Can you try installing it locally?  Sources available as releases at https://github.com/westes/flex/.  Version 2.6.4 is known to work well for Verible.

At this time, the flex dependency is manifest in two ways, the one from Kythe is the one that looks for a local install.
