Great to know, saw a couple of days ago that SVN 1.8 was released and was wondering the same thing.

I just released a new version. It is marked as beta meanwhile.

If you want to check it out - please enable version checking and enable it also for beta versions. It is in the options dialog.

Once you do that - go to help -> check for new version.

Please keep me updated.
