I want to do calculate the bounding box for each character I am drawing to a pdf, for a bunch of different fonts and sizes. It seems to work differently for different fonts, eg arial mt vs elephant regular.

For example, I have been using the - sign to get a feel for this, in Arial the bottom left is at 65,440 in elephant it is at 7,165 but the elephant is drawn higher and I can't find what this movement comes from.

I tried the other methods of uploading the fonts and it worked for me, then I watched again you video to see what was missing and the I saw that you uploaded the Regular Set and used the TH character.

The problem was that the TH character with Regular Set, is only avaliable using the Font Awesome Pro. You could upload the Solid Set and use the TH character or use other characters avaliable from the Regular Set.

2. Unlike Word processors, bold is not an available option when editing text in Nitro. For example, if you are using Calibri and you want to make a section bold, you have to swap to the 'Calibri-Bold' font. To do this, click on the Edit tool, then select the text. Thanks for your help, but I downloaded the latest build as you suggested, and unfortunately, the Montserrat fonts still do not appear. I ran a Support Tools Report and see the fonts that I want at the bottom of the fonts list (see below),

As the tutorial siads in the description "TrueType fonts are .ttf font files". Also when your adding fonts to the Add Fonts window it tells you if they are TrueType or not. Look at Step 3, the 3rd image.

and i dont know if this works for anyone else but for simplicity since when i get fonts i get a lot i save it to desktop, where i have a copy of my fonts folder, and just drag and drop after i have unzipped the font file. it installs like that, not much simplier but for those who didnt understand the first way, or use massive amounts of fonts that might be a bit easier.
