Silvawould, in turn, go on to make his own esoteric-panic film Pubertinaje in 1971, based on a novel by Pablo Leder. This unfinished, mutilated film includes three episodes: Una cena de Navidad (Leder); Juego de espejos (Alcaraz) and Tetraedro (Lus Uras), but that was released in 1978 with just the first two in-tact. Then came Jodorowskys La montaa sagrada, which had a troubled shoot, irritated the Catholic Church and ended up being censored until 1975.

Corkidis confronting images speak for themselves: naked boys and girls accompanied by a mutilated man; a group of Grenadiers at La Merced with the corpses of skinned dogs on their rifles, instead of bayonets; toads dressed as Aztecs and others as Spaniards staging the conquest of Mexico, or hundreds of plaster models of Christ with their genitals covered. Without a doubt, panic and esoteric cinema was a moment of inward-looking and extreme experimentation, whose peak was found in the counter-culturalism of the sixties and seventies.

Actor, Writer. Axel Cristbal Jodorowsky, the son of renowned filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky and actress Valerie Trumblay, was immersed in an artistic environment from the outset, shaping his development from an early age. Immersed in the arts since childhood, he engaged in theatrical and cinematic ventures across Mexico and France, honing his craft at Marcel Marceau's mime school in Paris. He furthered his theatrical pursuits in Paris and joined the Theatre of Silence in Aurillac, France, while also exploring contemporary dance with the French company Le Timbre. He debuted in the film industry in 1971 with "Pubertinaje," appearing alongside his brother Brontis in the segment 'Juego de espejos.' Notably, his breakthrough came in 1989 with the avant-garde horror film "Santa Sangre," directed by his father, earning him a Saturn Award nomination for Best Actor. Subsequently, he starred in "Miss Bolero" (1994), directed by Leo Kocking, and wrote and starred in the short film "Ciro Norte" (1998). While transitioning away from lead roles, he made appearances in his father's "La danza de la realidad" (2013) and the short film "The Voice Thief" (2013), directed by his brother Adan. Beyond his artistic endeavors, Cristbal Jodorowsky delved into spiritual and shamanic practices, influenced by his upbringing in his father's "psychomagic." He extensively traveled, deepening his understanding and crafting his approach to psycho-shamanic rituals. In 2007, he authored the book "El collar del Tigre" (The Tiger's Collar), widely distributed and translated into Italian. Additionally, he featured prominently in the documentary "Quantum Men" (2011), directed by Carlos Serrano Azcona, where he expounded on psycho-shamanism. In 2012, he established Metamundo, a two-year course exploring creativity and self-realization through tools such as psychomagic and the enneagram, with sessions held in various countries. After over two decades in Paris, Cristbal Jodorowsky returned to Mexico City, continuing to disseminate his insights through "therapeutic performances" and delivering lectures internationally.
