OK, here we go. Now one reason for the above is prattle is that there is one big disadvantages to these embedded thingies... they can take some time to load up, so you see I was just stalling for time...
Now, this tweet was created simply by hitting the twitter share button on the LinkedIn post... you can find this share button at the top or bottom of these posts... you know... the little bluebird symbol? Scroll back up to the top of this post you are reading now and take a good look... oh, and while you are there, why not hit that twitter share button and tweet this post... (pretty please?)
Note that the embedded tweet has share and follow buttons as part and parcel of the embed... I've illustrated just what I'm talking about here by including graphical screen grabs below... [the keen eyed among you will notice I've actually used a embedded tweet to include these little graphical snippets in my post... clever huh? Don't get me? Oh, please yourselves... I'll come back to that idea later...]
Here the reverse arrow, two-headed square arrow and heart symbols circled in red are, respectively, the twitter reply, retweet and like buttons... and these are live ones!!! So using these you can interact with my tweet from within my post... without having to leave me in the lurch to go elsewhere. Please try hitting these three buttons in the embeds above... and don't forget to follow through with the actions!!! Speaking of following... the blue "Follow" circled in red in the instructional tweet above is also a live button...yes you can follow me on twitter without going there too...
See that first tweet I embedded with a background LinkedIn post above? It has a lot of information about the post, does it not? I'm referring to the bits I've outlined in red in my screen grab below... this part of the tweet is what they call a twitter card... links, cover image, snippet of post, where it came from, etc... the point about this is all that stuff was auto-generated when I shared the post to twitter. I didn't have to do anything but share the post to twitter to create the tweet...
So one advantage of using twitter is a nice little way to include bits and bobs of information in these LinkedIn posts without much work at all! Shear laziness... ;-) or more properly shear efficiency. We can now use the power of twitter cards to auto-generate info... for example about other posts we want to refer to... then plonk the tweet into our posts... hey presto!... a shareable informative thingy, right there. No sweat at all...
A nice little trick... want to include a video in your posts...? Stop! Don't just embed it straight here... put it in a tweet first and then embed the tweet instead! What? No, this isn't crazy... firstly, the direct video embeds in these LinkedIn posts tend to come out far too big for me... can't always see the whole picture... so I like the more compact form my way of doing it provides... but the main reason, however, is we can include much more info around a video this way:
OK, I said I would come back to the cunning idea about including pictures... well, the eagle-eyed among you will have noticed there were actually two different screen shots I included in the tweet about the share and follow buttons right... yes... it is possible to use a single tweet to include multiple graphics... make a little slide show and embed it... like this...
Oh, I could go on and on about this... improved calls to actions, stock pieces of info about ourselves or our businesses which we want to include every time we post... multiple links in one... social media page links... the world is your oyster as they say.
Note that this list does not include the obvious rule-breakers such as creating fake accounts impersonating celebrities, abusive behavior, hateful conduct, illegal activity, harassment of users, abusive content, etc.
There are sophisticated services that allow you to post messages based on keywords that show up in the Twitter timeline. As sophisticated and attractive as these services might be to some Internet marketers, Twitter is even more sophisticated at finding you!
Suspicious activity can vary. Common suspicious activities include posting fake news, supporting, promoting, or engaging with fake accounts, or behavior that otherwise leads to Twitter suspension. If an account is limited as a result of suspicious activity, Twitter will either limit the account or verify the account using a mobile phone. This is done to ensure that accounts are being used by real people. If unusual activity is detected, and a verification with a mobile phone is completed, access to user accounts may either be restored, or continue to be limited until a period of time has passed, and the account is no longer behaving in an aggressive or inappropriate way.
Limiting an account as a result of violating Twitter rules will carry the most significant consequences, not unlike a temporary suspension. When this occurs, only current followers can be reached via DMs, and users will not be able to Tweet, Re-Tweet, link to other social networks, or truly engage in Twitter. From re-tweeting the words of a white supremacist, to posting hateful content or responses, there are numerous reasons to be limited on the social network. Sharing information from major news sites like ABC News, CBS News, and more are not typically used to justify violating the hateful conduct policy, but it is possible to do so if you post any content that can be considered inflammatory.

I am just a blogger and have no magical powers or relationships. You must contact Twitter support to get your account restored. Unfortunately there is no other way. Sincerely wishing you the best of luck!
My acc got restricted however, I have not recieved any email or message from them telling me what the reason is. I contact them but I fear it will take forever. You said we will get a notification but i have not got any
Sorry to hear about your experience. I suppose it is possible that multiple malicious reports might trigger Twitter to begin the restriction, but I also believe that they probably use algorithms and potential human intervention when they issue these restrictions. It is hard to tell, but when you are restricted, it truly sucks..
Twitter support does not read and help with my issue. All I got was an automated response. I did not have an email nor phone number under my profile account. When I tried to update, it asked for my password which I forgotten. So I logged out thinking that they are able to send me a link to reset. But this becomes a nightmare. They do not help and asked me to create a new account. I did not want to do that since I have accumulated few hundred new followers. Can anyone please help me? Thank you
Sorry to hear about your issues Jess. I recommend two approaches: 1) open a support ticket anyway under a different topic 2) become a Twitter blue subscriber and then contact support where hopefully they will take you more seriously. I also recommend you clear your browser cache and/or try to access under a different browser. Hope this helps!
I have the same situation with yours, if you do know how to open the account please help us, I have lost my phone and so was my number, my twitter account is now asking for verification but I dont have it anymore, what do I do?
That being said, it is important to remember that not all of your followers will appreciate being bombarded with advertisements. As such, you should use affiliate links sparingly and only promote products that you genuinely believe in.
Simply search for keywords related to the products or services you want to promote, and then look for tweets from businesses that are promoting those things as affiliates and join the affiliate program.
These relationships can be beneficial in many ways, such as giving you insights into what your followers are interested in or providing opportunities for joint ventures down the road. Plus, it never hurts to have good relationships with other businesses in your niche!
