Subject: [OMTRS-Members] OMTRS Monthly Cert Training Reminder - New Members Wanted

Folks, I’m trying to get the training reminder out a little earlier so you can keep your calendar clear. Don’t forget that this Thursday, August 16, we have our OMTRS Monthly Certification Training. Training starts at 6:00pm and runs until about 9:00 (or however long you can stay). Cert training is a low key, environment for learning technical rescue skills, we can teach you everything from the knots we use, to building technical rescue extraction systems (our “on-the-rock” technical trainings focus on putting those system to work out on the actual rock). 

Also, whether you are new to the team, or an old-timer, we’re actively seeking new members, so if you know anyone who might be interested in volunteering some time to help people in need, and maybe learn some new skills in the process, please invite them to join us in any team event ( full team calendar is available on the team website, www.omtrs.net).  Certification training this Thursday is a good opportunity to meet some team members, and learn about the team.

P.s. we’re heading over near Silver City next Saturday to give an intro to tech rescue to Grant County SAR, if you’re available to help, let David P. or myself know.
