Subject: [OMTRS-Members] OMTRS Monthly Certification Training Reminder

Spring has sprung! Time to dust off those rope rescue skills, or, learn some new ones. Our monthly certification training is tomorrow (third Thursday of every month). Starts around 18:00 hrs, runs until about 21:00. We’ll be at my house (225 Astor Drive, left off South Main Street, about a mile and a half south of Union Ave.). We are usually outside, so dress for the weather.

Want to learn some new knots? Or what this Portuguese bowline JT’s been talking about is? How about how to ascend a rope? Maybe you want to enhance your climber self rescue skills by learning how to escape a belay (or even why you might need to escape a belay?)?
