No, I manually select the driver that I've down loaded and it still fails. I already tried that method and posted the result back in Apr 4, 2020 12:48 PM and forward. Again, it works on other iPhones such as 5, 6, and 7 just not my 11 Pro max.

I drilled down into the downloaded Support file folder and found a variety of drivers and driver installation packages, but manually installing those (on a separate Windows 10 computer that I am using for testing) has not worked. In fact, forcing the Apple driver to install on the test Windows 10 computer results in it not even detecting the Magic Trackpad as an input device at all, and it won't let me remove the device either.
I have been searching for a solution for this for ages. Just found out one difference between W11 Home and W11 Pro is no mobile device drivers on the Home version. Very hard to force downloads or updates.
Firstly regards the crash make sure you installed the 1.3 version of the driver, not the old one. You could download it directly from the Manufacturers Website in case they have issued an update since I wrote this page.

I have an issue where my bootcamp install of Windows 10 has nonworking audio drivers and wireless networking drivers after installing the default selection of cross platform mobile development pieces.
On my system this is 100% replicable. All i have to do is create a bootcamp install of windows 10 64 bit. Install visual studio keep defaults. download and install the Xamarin for Visual Studio keep defaults.
After rebooting the sound driver has a red circle white x. Wireless networking has a red circle white x. Both drivers report all is well but neither work. I have tried reinstalling the drivers from the apple drivers... I don't recall the name of the drivers installer.

The commercial XTools X server (August 2002) from Tenon has hardwareOpenGL acceleration but did not work adequately for Chimera. Menussometimes appear behind windows. Some Chimera windows may resize tobe tiny. Numerous OpenGL error message are generated.
