Tên Út Trinh nghe hay phết, nhưng ảnh xấu điên.

A 50-year-old Queensland woman has been charged with seven counts of contamination over the strawberry needle incidents that sparked a nationwide crisis.

The woman, My Ut Trinh, known as Judy, was arrested and charged with seven counts contamination of goods under Section 238 Criminal Code, which has a three-year maximum penalty.

A circumstance of aggravation will also be alleged, elevating the maximum to 10 years’ imprisonment.

It is understood Trinh worked at the Berry Licious/Berry Obsession farm in southeast Queensland and it is alleged she had grievances about her treatment at work,

According to 7 News, Trinh allegedly told others she “wanted to bring them down” and “put them out of business.”

Thanks Mod for the news.

But ... but I ... but am NOT ruled by nationalism 🤣.  There are Viet ladies who wear brand name bags like Gucci to work in the farms 🤣

Aussie [abstract/impersonal] law protects public order/industries. Viet [entrenched moral, personalised] law protects power hierarchy. Either of the system is perfect and aims to be kind to women, and thus to mankind generally.

It seems hội bảo vệ người tiêu dùng is working hard. Also it seems the middle-class consumers prefer expensive imported fruits. I'm a poor peasant who prefers "just enough" (meaning đu đủ) or chuối (meaning bờ na nời)  😆

Scott Morrsion seems to be quick enough to think that a legal threat can change human behaviour or to calm public nerve. He might not be aware of other movements within the legal community (such as integrating philosophy and brain science in rule development/conflict settlement) or of the fact that .... even monkeys know what fairness is:-)
