Whilst that of course is very useful, it can also become bogged down from the growing amount of data that it is holding if you do not clear it out on a regular basis. Clearing the cache can of course help you to make your Xbox One run smoother,

make xbox download faster

What you do is go into xbox settings and then go to advanced settings. After that go to dns settings. Change dns settings to manual. After that put 8.8.8.8 into the primary dns. After you enter in that put 8.8.4.4 into the secondary dns. This make my download speed go to about 3.5 mbps to 6 mbps that is almost twice as fast! I think this only works with bad Internet connections that still use copper wire rather than fiber optic. Hope this helped!

I just got a xbox on thursday and im trying to install the game i bought with it but its taking forever to do that one game, It hasn't even reached 10% or higher and its been a few hours. do game downloads usualy take this long and is there a way to speed up downloads?

When your Xbox One isn't downloading fast enough, you don't have to be stuck with unacceptable speeds. Try these troubleshooting tricks to speed up your downloads and get to playing your games faster.

Another thing is that the xbox speedtest feature isn't that accurate. I'd make sure you're on the 5ghz and then test using phone/tablets to see what speeds your at using speedtest.com (try changing servers on the speedtest site as well)

However, restarting your Xbox will not necessarily solve all download speed issues, and it may not make a significant difference in cases where the slow download speed is due to a problem with your internet connection or a slow server.

The first step to making sure your Xbox games update faster is to check your network settings. Make sure that your internet connection is stable and that your console is connected to the correct wireless network. If your connection is unstable, try resetting your modem or router and then reconnecting your console to the internet. Additionally, you can try using a wired connection instead of a wireless one for a faster and more reliable connection.

Another way to optimize your network settings is to make sure your console is set up correctly. This includes setting up a DNS server, checking your NAT type, and making sure your ports are not blocked. These steps can help improve your connection speeds and ensure that your Xbox games update faster.

Finally, you can make sure your Xbox games update faster by using a download manager. Download managers can help optimize the download process and make sure your games download faster. To use a download manager, simply download one from the internet and install it on your computer. Then, use the download manager to manage your downloads.

Answer 2: Updating your Xbox games is important for a number of reasons. It will ensure that you have the latest version of the game, with the latest content and features. It can also help to improve the performance of the game, as well as fix any bugs that may be present. Additionally, it can help to make the game more secure by addressing any potential security issues.

Answer 3: There are a few different things that you can do to make Xbox game updates faster. One of the most important things is to make sure that your internet connection is as fast and reliable as possible. If you have a slow or unreliable connection, it can take a long time to download the update. Additionally, you can remove any unnecessary files or programs that may be running in the background, as they can slow down the download.

1. Press guide button go to settings under power options select the Shutdown energy saving option.
2. In settings go to storage devices and clear local saved games, you will not lose any saved data, it will be on the cloud and will sync next time you play. If you have second thoughts about doing this know that I, did it and everything turned out fine, but if you want to research it on the web first, to see what all of it does and what happens after doing.
3. In settings go to devices and connections or connectivity and select blue ray, select persistent storage, clear that twice, you will not lose any data or game save. By the way you can do this every month or so.
4. While system is on, hold the power button until the power shuts down, once that happens unplug the power cable, the HDMI cable and the ethernet cable wait about 2 or 3 minutes then plug them back in, wait one more minute turn on console, this one I would also do every few weeks or months.
5. This one read all the way through before starting. Under settings go to system then console info, and reset console keep my games and apps(VERY IMPORTANT that you choose reset console keep my games and apps), If you do the other reset option you will reset your console back to the way it was when you first opened it out of the box, no profile, no games, no saves...so pick reset console keep my games and apps also (VERY IMPORTANT) before you do this process make sure that you can log into your profile on Xbox, that you know your password or you will not be able to log back into your profile and you may not have access to your games and saves, etc. This process takes about 10 minutes. If you have any questions or concerns about this process, I recommend you do some research on the web first. But I did it and did not lose any saved data but basically all options that I ever choose in my games were reset to default, not a big problem you can always re-do them.
6. Finally and I did not do this one as it scared me a bit and I need to do more research, but this one may have one of the biggest effects on your game, try reinstalling the game, save your family/your household, your house to the gallery if you would like so you can use them again, but you will probably start the game new but with the sims your created honestly I'm not sure because I did not try this one.

Your home network is assigned a default DNS that is usually provided by your internet service provider. While the default DNS works, there are other DNS servers that are faster and run more efficiently. Switching to one of these faster servers can speed up your Xbox One download speeds. We recommend using Google DNS. To change your DNS settings:

When do you experience the most kicks? Does it take more than two login attempts on average to log in your base first time of the day? If so, make a small logout shack safely away from your render of base. If you store all gear, then bedhop there to log every time you can bedhop back to base or just run there. (I suggest running, you run thr risk of kicks when bedhopping)

I could even handle a crash here and there if it weren't for tame, structure, and landscape textures going out of whack constantly. If I could improve this in any way, it would make a world of a difference.

But, if you want to test whether it will make a difference, open up your Xbox to expose the heatsink and fan assembly, and point an external fan, like a desk fan, at it while you're gaming. See if it does any better.

My son races with a Xbox one controller currently with Forza 5. We have noticed that when driving faster the response to turn the cars slow. For example start race, use no gas and the turn wheel left and right with no issue of full turn, now give full throttle and as you increase speed the steering will no longer go although way right or left until you lose traction, High speed in straight away with controller to left the car barely moves to the left.
Steering assist set to normal and simulation does this.
We have noticed this in Horizon 2 also.

I thought It could be the wireless controller because I did notice that when I got a wired controller for xbox 360 is reacted slighty faster because I got a new flat screen tv and its reaction was horrible and I wanted to reduce the lag time.

Xbox Series X and Series S may have Game Pass as its trump card for a large and accessible catalogue of games to play. But it's going to be a problem making the most of this if you're dealing with slow Xbox Series X download speed. As game sizes continue to get bigger, where 50GB is fast becoming the norm, or often double that, you're going to want to make you you have the best download speed for your Xbox, whether you're still using an Xbox One or have upgraded to Xbox Series XS.

Have you been using the same internet connection for years? If it's just standard broadband, you'll want to switch to something like Fibre Broadband, which provides a much faster service that's essential for your Xbox Series XS where you've got loads of huge files to download regularly.

Ultra-fast options may depend on the provider and whether or not it's available in your area. Check if your current service can let you upgrade. Otherwise, if you're out of the minimum contract period, it pays to switch to a new provider who can offer better rates. In some cases, you'll be getting much faster broadband while saving money. This will let you download big games, like Forza Horizon 4, much quicker than before.
