He wants a statement of the LISA bit as far as I can see the Moneybox app doesn't offer this as an option. I have a notifications section that has last year's (19/20) annual statement but nothing for this year. Even when the 20/21 annual statement comes through it won't show the new deposit made in this tax year or the additional bonus it earned.
Am I missing something here? Surely the ability to provide an up to date statement to mortgage providers is one of the most basic requirements of a LISA product. The value of it can change regularly depending on how often you make deposits and having the bonus awarded. An annual snapshot of it seems pretty useless. A mortgage provider probably doesn't care what value it was at a year ago.
MoneyBox you do just the same! except that each statement is uniquely identified in the reconciliation process. This makes it easier to track back over previous Bank statements if you find a discrepancy.
The result is that without any extra effort on your part, at any time, and particularly at the end of the financial year, you have a clear statement of your financial position that you can transfer directly to your tax accountant or financial adviser.
