Job Summary
Toyota Financial Services is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale technology solutions supporting automotive finance, lending, leasing, customer servicing, and digital transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, API integrations, microservices, application modernization, and financial services platforms. The architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and enterprise architects to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end enterprise solutions supporting automotive finance, leasing, lending, and customer servicing applications.
- Define architecture standards, design principles, and technology roadmaps.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical leadership throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Design cloud-native architectures using AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud platforms.
- Develop microservices-based architectures and API-driven integration strategies.
- Architect enterprise integration solutions using REST APIs, Kafka, MuleSoft, IBM MQ, or other middleware technologies.
- Ensure solution designs meet security, compliance, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
- Lead modernization efforts for legacy applications and migration to cloud platforms.
- Create architecture artifacts including:
- High-Level Design (HLD)
- Low-Level Design (LLD)
- Architecture Decision Records (ADR)
- Solution Blueprints
- Data Flow Diagrams
- Integration Specifications
- Work closely with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Provide guidance to development teams regarding coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
- Participate in estimation, planning, and technical risk assessments.
- Support production releases, troubleshooting, and performance optimization initiatives.

- 5+ years as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect.
- Experience leading large-scale enterprise digital transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of financial services architecture and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
