Job Summary
We are seeking an Oracle Cloud SCM Functional Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise supply chain solutions. This role serves as a subject matter expert, responsible for bridging the gap between complex business requirements and Oracle Cloud’s technical capabilities. You will oversee the full project lifecycle—from feasibility studies to global deployment—ensuring seamless integration across Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing modules to drive operational efficiency for NJ Transit.
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills
Solution Design & Module Implementation
- Functional Architecture: Lead the design and deployment of Oracle Cloud SCM solutions, ensuring alignment with global best practices.
- Core Module Expertise: Develop and customize functionalities within Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Ensure seamless data flow between SCM modules and Oracle Cloud Financials, as well as various third-party enterprise applications.
Business Process Optimization
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to audit current-state supply chain processes and identify areas for digital transformation.
- Functional Specifications: Translate business needs into detailed system configurations and functional specifications.
- Strategic Advisory: Recommend process enhancements and the latest Oracle Cloud features to optimize warehouse and procurement operations.
Project Leadership & Lifecycle Management
- End-to-End Delivery: Manage all project phases including feasibility studies, requirement gathering, SIT, UAT, and deployment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with technical teams and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to the development of internal methodologies and tools.
Mandatory Technical Requirements
- Oracle Cloud SCM Mastery: Extensive experience implementing Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing modules.
- Implementation Track Record: Proven history of leading large-scale, complex SCM implementations and global design sessions.
- Methodology Proficiency: Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud implementation methodologies (OUM) and supply chain best practices.
- Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with related Oracle Cloud modules such as Financials or HCM.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: Oracle Cloud SCM Implementation Professional certifications.
- Industry Experience: Background in manufacturing, retail, or healthcare sectors.
- Technical Acumen: Strong analytical abilities with a focus on streamlining complex supply chain workflows.
